FISAR Delegazione Roma e Castelli Romani

The FISAR Roma e Castelli Romani branch is an autonomous delegation of the Federazione Italiana Sommelier Albergatori e Ristoratori, an Italian sommelier association. It is not a staffing agency but an association of sommeliers: on request for a quote, it provides sommeliers for events and restaurants in Rome and the surrounding province. It also offers consultancy on building or improving the wine list of bars and restaurants.

It runs sommelier courses and guided tastings, with venues listed in Anzio and Frascati too.

Worth considering when wine plays a central role, such as a gala dinner with pairings or a corporate tasting. Share the menu with the caterer in advance, so the sommelier can suggest pairings and work out the number of bottles.
