Il Pescatorio

Il Pescatorio is a seafood deli with a fishmonger's in Monteverde that also does catering. The menu is worked out case by case with executive chef Simona Bontà, with no set packages. The website describes three levels of service: ready-made platters for a buffet, the same with a waiter, or a cook and waiter who cook directly in your home. Raw fish, oysters and tartares are prepared on the spot, including at a dedicated raw bar, and wines are chosen from the in-house wine shop. The stated capacity goes up to about 80 to 100 people.

Worth considering for a party, an aperitivo or a company dinner where fish is the heart of the menu. The stated price starts at about €30 to €50 per person for a substantial aperitivo (drinks with a generous spread of food) and rises for full menus: say straight away which of the three service levels you need.
